What must I do if I have a good name?

If the name you come up with is available and complies with the Rules and Requirements checklist below, then leave a comment below with your idea. Your name and idea will then be listed publicly which ensures that this competition remains fair and transparent. First name and idea that we select will be awarded the cash prize.

Please make sure that your suggestion complies with each item in the checklist below:

• The name must be available as a dot com address
  For example, if the name you come up with is "My Great Name", then you need to check that "MyGreatName.com" is also available for registration. To do this, you can visit Register.com and check if it is available. Simply enter your name into the big text box and click the "find It" button. If the name is "available" let us know immediately. If not, then unfortunately it can not be used.
• The name must not be crude, vulgar or have any sexual connotation to it
  Your idea needs to be catchy, but clean. No reference to anything sexual, explicit or crude.
• Names with a contextual meaning behind them stand a GREATER chance of winning
  A name like "Twitter.com" or "Twitter" is a great name because it describes their website's activity, which is short messages or "tweeting", like a bird. Clever suggestions like that stand a great chance of winning this prize. Keywords to bear in mind when thinking of a name are: "entertainment", "interactive", "sharing", "content", "photo", "personalised", "mature", "pages", "profile" and "flaunt". You as a user know what our site is about, so let your creative juices flow.
• Names should be short, simple and easy to spell
  Avoid using words that are difficult to spell. Remember - users from all over the world need to be able to spell and remember the address. Shorter names are also better. Example of good names are "Yahoo", "MySpace", "Facebook", "Bravo".
• Made-up or nonsense names are also an option
  Website with short names that don't really mean anything can also be options if they are catchy, like "Hulu", "Jango" and "Zynga" .
